Movers At Work: Prepare Your Car Shipment
Whether you are shipping your car domestically or internationally there are sever things you need to do
before your vehicle can be shipped.
- Wash the vehicle for inspection.
- Since the vehicle would have to be inspected before the shipment – have it washed and cleaned.
- Remove any personal items
- Autos would not be able to ship with personal items inside, remove everything from your car.
- Leave less then a quarter gallons of fuel in the gas tank, extra gas in the auto engine can leak in the transit — ship your auto with the minim amount of fuel.
- Remove or protect any lose parts
- Remove the antenna and any other detachable parts.
- For part that can’t be removed like side mirrors, spoilers etc’ rap them with protective cover.
- Ensure that the car is in good working condition, you probably want to drive the vehicle upon its arrival, make sure the batteries are charged the fluid level is good and the tires are OK.
